Introducing IAF Podcasts

The Irish Architecture Foundation is delighted to launch IAF Podcasts, a new platform for conversations about architecture and the stories that bind people and place.

Podcasts offer an accessible space for sharing lived experience, knowledge and ideas and can help amplify voices and perspectives that are not always included in conversations about architecture. As a form of digital commons, they allow conversations to be shared widely and accessed beyond the places in which they begin. For IAF, podcasts create a digital space for gathering, bringing communities, architects, experts and thinkers into conversation and different forms of knowledge together.

IAF Podcasts will develop a number of distinct series, each focusing on a particular subject or question, alongside occasional standalone releases. Central to the platform is creating conversations between different kinds of expertise, from lived experience and community knowledge to architectural and professional practice, expanding how we think and talk about architecture and the places we share.

IAF Podcasts begins this October with the series Public Domain, a national tour across Ireland meeting people where they are with the urgent conversation about what it means to be public in Ireland today.
