The space and doorways open wide, and the venue does not have any steps or stairs.

There is seating available if you need to rest.

Please contact us at info@iaf.ie if you have any access requirements.

Audio Guide

The Audio Guide is an audio recording of all the text on the exhibition panels in IAF House this autumn.

You can listen to the Audio Guide on your phone during your visit or anywhere with an internet connection.

Sensory Space

IAF House offers a sensory room, a quiet, calming space designed for visitors who may feel overstimulated or overwhelmed.

In this sensory-friendly space, visitors can take the time to calm down, regulate their stress responses, and renew their focus. It is open to all. However, visitors may be asked to leave if someone urgently needs to use the room in private.

The room is divided into two zones: Seating Area and Movement Area. These zones support different self-regulation needs. Please treat all furniture and items with care so that others can enjoy them too.

Room Features:

  • Visual: Soft lighting with changeable colour settings

  • Auditory: Gentle ambient sound with adjustable volume and disposable earplugs

  • Body awareness: Yoga ball, stretching mat, and bean bags

  • Tactile: Fidget toys and sensory stepping stones

Calming down can look different for different people. Please give others space and be mindful for everyone’s right to calm down without interruption or judgement.
